William Harvey Hospital

The William Harvey Hospital, located in Willesborough, Ashford, Kent, England, is one of the three main hospitals in the East Kent Hospitals University NHS Trust area. The hospital was commissioned in 1977, employs about 2,500 people and is named after William Harvey (1578-1657), the famous Folkestone born doctor who discovered the blood circulatory system.

Wye railway station

Wye railway station serves Wye in Kent, England. The station, and all trains serving it, is operated by Southeastern. The platforms are connected by a concrete footbridge - a typical product of the Southern Railway concrete factory at Exmouth Junction. There is a manned level crossing at the south end of the station. There is a separate car park (free) to the NW of the station. The station is manned for part of the day. There is no passenger-operated ticket machine at this location.

A28 road

The A28 is a trunk road in southern England. It runs south-west from the seaside resort of Margate in Kent via Westgate and Birchington, reaching open countryside at Sarre. The road continues via Upstreet and Hersden to Sturry, and on to the cathedral city of Canterbury.

Brabourne

Brabourne is a village and civil parish in the Ashford district of Kent, England. The village centre is just under five miles east of Ashford town centre. The centre of the modern village of Brabourne is the Five Bells pub, which overlooks the village green. The original village grew up some way to the east of the pub, around the ancient village church; this area is now sometimes referred to as East Brabourne.

Ashford Green Corridor

Ashford Green Corridor is a green space that runs through the town of Ashford in Kent, England. The Green Corridor is made up of parks, recreation grounds and other green spaces alongside the rivers that flow through Ashford. The town has been growing steadily since the early 19th century. As the town has expanded, land close to the rivers has not usually been built on, due to the risk of flooding because the Ashford Borough Council has protected it as green space.
