Sutton Poyntz Liberty was a liberty in the county of Dorset, England, containing the following parishes: Chickerell (part) Preston Stockwood Locally however, Sutton Poyntz is commonly thought of as a village although the boundaries are somewhat blurred between what is Sutton Poyntz and Preston; whether it ends at the village sign or at the end of Sutton road remains a mystery but regardless, Sutton Poyntz is a beautiful area of Dorset set amongst beautiful countryside and underneath the shadow of the Osmington White Horse; a local landmark.

Fleet, Dorset

Fleet is a hamlet and parish in south Dorset, England, situated two miles west of Weymouth. The village is named for The Fleet, the nearby lagoon behind Chesil Beach. J. Meade Falkner's smuggling novel, Moonfleet is set in the village. On 24 November 1824 strong winds and a storm surge caused waves to breach Chesil Beach, and many of the buildings in the village were destroyed. Moonfleet Manor is situated in the village of Fleet.

Radipole Lake

Radipole Lake is a lake on the River Wey, now in the English coastal town of Weymouth, Dorset, once in Radipole, the village and parish of the same name. Along the western shore of the lake, and between Radipole and the town centre of Weymouth, now lies the modern suburb of Southill. The lake is a nature reserve run by the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds, as it is an important habitat for reedbed birds. The lake flows into Weymouth Harbour.
