Wareham St. Martin

Wareham St. Martin is a civil parish in the English county of Dorset. The parish spreads across a large, and mostly rural area to the north of the town of Wareham including much of Wareham Forest. However the town of Wareham lies within its own civil parish, and the only significant settlement within Wareham St. Martin parish is the village of Sandford on the A351 road between Wareham and Poole. The parish also includes the Holton Heath trading estate.

Lulworth Castle

Lulworth Castle, in East Lulworth, Dorset, situated south of Wool, is an early 17th century mock castle. The stone building has now been re-built as a museum. In 1610 Lulworth Castle was built as a hunting lodge by Thomas Howard, 3rd Viscount Howard of Bindon, a grandson of the 3rd Duke of Norfolk. In 1641, Humphrey Weld purchased it from Howard's heir, James Howard, 3rd Earl of Suffolk. A Roman Catholic Chapel was built in the grounds in 1786.

Lulworth Estate

The Lulworth Estate is located in central south Dorset, England. Its most notable landscape feature include a five mile stretch of coastline on the Jurassic coast. Part of the area is a special World Heritage Site. The historic estate, of which the stately castle - Lulworth Castle - was residence to the Weld family until 1929 when it was ravaged by fire. The estate is predominantly owned by the Weld family who have lived there for several generations.
