Swinfen

Swinfen is a small community about two miles south of Lichfield in the civil parish of Swinfen and Packington, Staffordshire. Swinfen is referred to in the Domesday Book of 1086 when the Manor was held by the Bishop of Lichfield. The present building known as Swinfen Hall Hotel was built as the Manor House in 1757. Swinfen Hall Prison complete with staff accommodation, and a country craft centre, stands adjacent to the entrance to Swinfen Hall Hotel.

Letocetum

Letocetum is the remains of a Roman settlement. It was an important military staging post and posting station near the junction of Watling Street, the Roman military road to North Wales, and Icknield (or Ryknild) Street. The site is now within the parish of Wall, Staffordshire, England. It is owned and run by the National Trust, under the name Letocetum Roman Baths Site & Museum. The site is in the guardianship of English Heritage as Wall Roman Site.

Hill Hook

Hill Hook is an area of Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham, England. The area includes Hill Hook Local Nature Reserve, declared in 2003 with an area of 5.65 hectares, which is on the site of a watermill built in the 17th century. An earlier dam showed the extent of the original mill pool, which was enlarged in 1767. The nature reserve, known locally as 'The Meddies' was substantially built upon from the early 1980s onwards, although small parts remain untouched.
