Little Swinburne Reservoir

Little Swinburne Reservoir is a small reservoir in Northumberland, England less than 1 mile northeast of the A68 road, and about 9 miles north of Corbridge. The A68 road generally follows the course of Dere Street, a Roman road, but has deviated at this point a little to the east, to facilitate a bridge crossing of the Swin Burn.

Hallington Reservoirs

Hallington Reservoirs are located near the small village of Colwell, Northumberland, England on the B6342 road off the A68 road, and 7 miles north of Corbridge. Hallington is actually two small reservoirs: Hallington Reservoir West and Hallington Reservoir East, which are separated by a dam.

Bavington Hall

Bavington Hall is a 17th-century privately owned country house at Little Bavington in Northumberland. It is a Grade II* listed building. A tower house (Little Bavington Tower) was recorded on the site in 1415, but this was replaced in the late 17th century by the Shafto family. The Shaftos acquired the estate when William Shafto married the Bavington heiress in the 15th century.

Sweethope Loughs

Sweethope Loughs are two freshwater lakes almost 1 mile in length, the smaller one just east of the larger, in the southern part of Northumberland, England and lying between the A68 road, and the A696 road. They lie about 18 miles west of Morpeth; 4 miles west of Kirkwhelpington; and 6 miles east of Bellingham. There is a crossing between the two lakes, which are lined with trees and surrounded by hills. To the north west are Great Wanney Crag and Little Wanney Crag.
