Bare Lane railway station

Bare Lane railway station is a railway station that serves the village of Bare, which is a suburb of Morecambe in Lancashire, England. It is located on the Morecambe Branch Line from Lancaster to Heysham Port. A level crossing with the public highway known as Bare Lane exists immediately to the west of the station, which until recently was controlled by the adjacent Bare Lane signal box, a fringe cabin to the Preston PSB Area.

Christie Park, Morecambe

Christie Park was the home of Morecambe FC, located on the corner of Christie Avenue and Lancaster Road in Morecambe, Lancashire, England. Christie Park had a capacity of approximately 6,400. It comprised three covered stands and one uncovered stand. The only seated stand (the Main Stand) ran along the length of the pitch on one side. The main terraced end (the North Stand) was situated behind one of the goals, and was the location for the majority of the home fans on match days.

Lancaster Canal

The Lancaster Canal is a canal in the north of England, originally planned to run from Westhoughton in Lancashire to Kendal in south Cumbria. The section around the crossing of the River Ribble was never completed, and much of the southern end leased to the Leeds and Liverpool Canal, of which it is now generally considered part.

The Bay (radio station)

The Bay is a British radio station owned by the CN Group broadcasting from the city of Lancaster to the region of North Lancashire and South Cumbria, in North West England. It derives its name from the sand banks of Morecambe Bay, above which the main 96.9 MHz transmitter is located. Other transmitters are located near the Lake District towns of Windermere (102.3) and Kendal (103.2), near the A684.
