Wootton Rivers Lock, also called Wootton Rivers Bottom Lock, is a lock on the Kennet and Avon Canal, at Wootton Rivers, Wiltshire England. Wootton Rivers Bottom Lock was built during the canal construction between 1794 and 1810 under the supervision of the engineer John Hore of Newbury. The canal is administered by British Waterways. The lock has a rise/fall of 8 ft 0 in (2.43 m). The municipality of Wooton Rivers has three more locks upstream, Heaty Close, Brimslade, and Wootton Top Lock.

Wootton Top Lock (previously known as Cadley Lock) is a lock on the Kennet and Avon Canal, at Wootton Rivers, Wiltshire, England. Wootton Top Lock was built between 1718 and 1723 under the supervision of the engineer John Hore of Newbury. The canal is administered by British Waterways. The lock has a rise/fall of 8 ft 0 in (2.43 m). East of this lock is the summit of the canal at 450 ft (137 m) above sea level.

Easton Royal

Easton Royal is a village and civil parish in Wiltshire, England. The village site was the location of the Easton Priory from 1234 to 1536. The name of Easton Royal came into use in the 1850s and was officially sanctioned ca. 1860. The United Kingdom Census 2001 recorded a parish population of 283.

Savernake Forest

Savernake Forest is on a Cretaceous chalk plateau between Marlborough and Great Bedwyn in Wiltshire, England. Its area is approximately 4,500 acres . It is privately owned by the Earl of Cardigan and his family, and is administered by trustees. Since 1939 the running of the forest has been undertaken by the Forestry Commission on a 999-year lease. The private status of Savernake - Britain's only privately owned forest - is maintained by shutting the forest to the public one day per year.
