Wychnor Hall

Wychnor Hall (or Wychnor Park) is Grade II Listed early 18th century country house near Burton on Trent, Staffordshire. The Hall was formerly owned by the Levett Family, descendants of Theophilus Levett, who was Steward of the city of Lichfield in the early eighteenth century. The hall has been converted to a Country Club.

Wychnor

Wychnor (or Wichnor) is a civil parish in Staffordshire, England, situated in the East Staffordshire local government district adjoining Alrewas and Barton-under-Needwood. It is situated on the A38, formerly the Roman road Ryknild Street, and contains the hamlet of Wychnor Bridges where the A38 crosses the River Trent. The Trent and Mersey Canal passes through the parish, and there is a railway junction where the South Staffordshire Line joins the Cross Country Route.

Alrewas and Fradley, was a large civil parish in the Lichfield district of Staffordshire, England. The parish included the villages of Alrewas, Fradley and Orgreave, and in 2001 had a population of 4,686. On 1 April 2009 it was divided into the two new parishes of Alrewas and Fradley.

Hoar Cross Hall

Hoar Cross Hall is a 19th century country mansion situated near the villages of Hoar Cross and Hamstall Ridware, Staffordshire which is operated as an hotel and health spa. It is a Grade II listed building. Hoar Cross was from the early 17th century the firstseat of the Ingram family whose principal residence was Temple Newsam, Yorkshire. In 1661 Henry Ingram was raised as Baron Ingram and Viscount of Irvine. On the death of the 9th Viscount in 1778 the Viscountcy became extinct .
