Aughafatten or Aghafatten is a small village and townland between Carnlough and Broughshane in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. It is within the Borough of Ballymena and is part of the North Antrim constituency for local and European elections. It enjoys an excellent view of Slemish mountain. A42 road (Northern Ireland)

The A42 is an east-west route in Northern Ireland. It starts in Maghera in County Londonderry, from where it goes in the direction of Carnlough on the shores of the North Channel of the Irish Sea, at the foot of the Glens of Antrim. The road goes through Gulladuff and Clady (both in County Londonderry), as well as Portglenone, Ahoghill, Ballymena Broughshane and The Sheddings (all in County Antrim).

Carnalbanagh

Carnalbanagh is a small village and townland in the Larne Borough Council area of County Antrim, Northern Ireland. It lies above Glenarm and the area is generally unspoilt by recent development. It is close to Slemish. Local services include a corner shop regularly run by the local Magee family, Carnalbanagh Primary School, Orange Hall and Presbyterian church. The local flute band is known as Carnalbanagh Flute Band.
