Beinn Bhàn (Applecross)

Beinn Bhàn is a mountain in the highlands of Scotland, lying on the Applecross peninsula, on the north side of Loch Kishorn. The most striking features of Beinn Bhàn are the rocky corries on the eastern side, which are seen well from the A896 road. The best known of the corries is probably Coire na Poite, which forms a bowl shape, almost entirely ringed by crags offering climbing and winter ice climbing routes.

Beinn Dearg (Torridon)

Beinn Dearg is the 4th highest of the Torridon mountains in the highlands of Scotland. Beinn Dearg offers all the typical features of a Torridon hill, with steeply terraced rocky sides dissected by near vertical gullies. The summit ridge is an airy crest that offers some easy scrambling; alternatively this can be avoided by following a path that traverses the terraces on the southern side.

Sand on the Applecross Peninsula in Wester Ross, Scotland, is a major archaeological site. Sand is the site of a major archaeological excavation on the Inner Sound coast of the Applecross Peninsula in Western Scotland, to the north of the small town of Applecross.

Bealach na Bà

Bealach na Bà is a historic pass through the mountains of the Applecross peninsula, in Wester Ross in the Scottish Highlands—and the name of a famous twisting, single-track mountain road through the pass and mountains. The road is one of few in the Scottish Highlands that is engineered similarly to roads through the great mountain passes in the Alps, with very tight hairpin bends that switch back and forth up the hillside and gradients that approach 20%.

Fairy Lochs

The Fairy Lochs is a recent English name for Na Lochan Sgeireach and are a small group of lochans approximately 2 miles (3 km) SE of the village of Badachro near Gairloch in Wester Ross, Scotland. The lochans have become known as the 'Fairy Lochs' due to the close proximity of the 'Sìthean Mòr' hill which translates into English as the 'Large Fairy Mound'. The lochans are close to Loch Bràigh Horrisdale, which flows into the Badachro River .
