Friarton Bridge

The Friarton Bridge is a light weight concrete road bridge across the Firth of Tay on the southeastern outskirts of Perth, Scotland, approximately 20 miles upstream of the Tay Road Bridge. The bridge was constructed by the Miller Group and engineered by Andrew Stevenson, and is the first light weight concrete bridge built in Europe, and forms part of the eastern spur of the M90 between junctions 10 (Craigend) and 11 (Broxden), the most northerly motorway junction in the UK.

River Farg

The River Farg is a small tributary of the River Earn, located in the lieutenancy area of Perth and Kinross, central Scotland. Its source is located in Glen Farg reservoir; it winds round roads and farms, and has been forced in many places to change course due to human interference. It ends in a confluence where it joins the Earn. The name Farg means "wrathful" in Manx, referring to the force of the river when in spate.

Strathallan School

Strathallan School is an independent boarding and day school in Scotland for boys and girls aged 9–18. The school has a 150-acre campus at Forgandenny, a few miles south of Perth. It is sometimes referred to as a public school, although strictly speaking this only applies to the English schools covered by the Public Schools Acts, and is the term traditionally used in Scotland for state schools.

Elcho Castle

Elcho Castle /ˈɛl. xəʊˌkɑːsl/ is located a short distance above the south bank of the River Tay approximately four miles south-east of Perth, Scotland. It consists of a Z-plan tower house, with fragments of a surrounding wall with corner towers. The Castle was built on the site of an older structure about 1560, and is one of the best surviving examples of its date in Scotland.

Kinnoull Hill

Kinnoull Hill is a hill located in Perth, Scotland. From the hill's 222m south-facing cliff summit, views are afforded of the River Tay, the Friarton Bridge, and a stretch of the Tay Coast railway line. Further to the south, Moncrieffe Hill can be seen. On an outcrop a few hundred yards to the east of — but visible from — the summit is Kinnoull Tower.
