East Whitburn is a small village in Scottish county of West Lothian. Bordering the mining town of Whitburn, East Whitburn has grown significantly in the past few years due to developments of large houses. It has two local stores and a hairdressers on the main road passing through the village.

Polkemmet Country Park

Polkemmet Country Park is located 2 kilometres west of the town of Whitburn in West Lothian, Scotland. It is adjacent to the M8 motorway, 2 kilometres east of the "Heart of Scotland" services at Harthill. It was developed on the estate of Polkemmet House, a country house which was demolished in the 1960s. The estate was bought by West Lothian District Council in 1978, and the country park was opened to the public in 1981. The park covers 169 hectares, and is managed by West Lothian Council.

Greenrigg

Greenrigg is a small village that lies in the west of West Lothian, Scotland. Greenrigg is within walking distance to shops in the bordering village of Harthill and a quick drive away from Whitburn. The village has a school, Greenrigg Primary School. Greenrigg was once a thriving miming village and produced large amounts of coal. The remains of the mine can be seen in the form of a large mound of debris from the mine excavations or "Bing" as they are called locally.

Armadale Stadium

Armadale Stadium is a greyhound racing and motorcycle speedway stadium situated in the town of Armadale, West Lothian in Scotland. Stock car racing has also been held at the venue. It has been home to the Edinburgh Monarchs speedway team since 1997. Armadale is mainly handicap six dog races and there are also regular opens for the higher class of greyhound

Breich

Breich is a small village lying in the western part of West Lothian in Scotland. It lies on the A71, the Edinburgh to Ayrshire road, which also goes to the large town of Livingston 7 miles to the east. It is situated at the junction of the A706, to Lanark, Bathgate and Linlithgow. The village consists mainly of a single row of houses by the roadside (& some new builds behind the single row) and has one pub. It also has a Roadside Snack Bar called Big T's at the Breich Cross layby.
