Hubbertville School is located in the community of Hubbertville, which itself is situated in Northern Fayette County, Alabama, within the corporate limits of Glen Allen, Alabama. It is a PK through 12 school. The school was established in 1923 and is named for the Curt Hubbert family who donated the land for the campus. The school mascot is the lion. School colors are maroon and white.

Bazemore, Alabama is a small community located in northern Fayette County, Alabama near the Marion and Walker County lines, approximately 3 miles south of I-22. The community is situated at the exact head of the Sipsey River where New River and Little New River converge. The BNSF rail system runs through the heart of the community. Prior to desegregation, the community was home to Piney Grove School.
