Ozark, Alabama

Ozark is a city in and the county seat of Dale County, Alabama, United States. In 1990 the city population was 12,922. As of the 2000 census, the population of the city was 15,119. Ozark along with the city of Enterprise, are principal cities of the Enterprise–Ozark Micropolitan Statistical Area, which includes all of Dale and Coffee counties. Fort Rucker, the primary flight training base for Army Aviation, abuts Ozark.

Carroll High School (Ozark, Alabama)

Carroll High School is located in Ozark, Alabama and is part of the Ozark City School System. It has a populus of close to 800 students. It is in the 5A class of Alabama schools. It enjoyed great success in football in the late 1980s and early 1990s. At the time of the 1970s 3 starters on offense for Bear Bryant's University of Alabama football were from Carroll High School. It integrated its school system in 1969.

Blackwell Field is a public-use airport located two nautical miles (2.3 mi, 3.7 km) southeast of the central business district of Ozark, in Dale County, Alabama, United States.
