Easley Covered Bridge

The Easley Covered Bridge, also known as the Old Easley Covered Bridge or Rosa Covered Bridge, is a county-owned wood and metal combination style covered bridge that spans Dub Branch of the Calvert Prong of the Little Warrior River in Blount County, Alabama, United States. It is located on Easley Bridge Road off U.S. Route 231, just south of the town of Rosa, about 5 miles (8 kilometers) northwest of Oneonta.

WNG606 (sometimes referred to as Oneonta All Hazards) is a NOAA Weather Radio station that serves the northeastern portion of the Birmingham-Hoover-Cullman Combined Statistical Area. It is programmed from the National Weather Service forecast office in Birmingham, Alabama with its transmitter located in Oneonta. It broadcasts weather and hazard information for Blount, Cullman, Etowah, Jefferson, St. Clair and Walker counties in Alabama.

WCRL

WCRL is a radio station licensed to serve Oneonta, Alabama. The station is owned by Our Town Radio, Inc. and began operation on July 29, 1952. WCRL airs an oldies music format. The station was assigned the WCRL call letters by the Federal Communications Commission. The station has been owned by the L.D. Bentley Jr. family since the early 1950s, through Blount County Broadcasting Service, Inc. In 1968 the station added an FM sister, WKLD.

Blount County is a county located in the U.S. state of Alabama. As of the 2010 census, the population was 57,322. Its county seat is Oneonta. Blount County is a dry county. In the November 6 2012 elections a ballot initiative to allow alcohol sales was narrowly defeated.
