Woodstock, Alabama

Woodstock is a town in Bibb and Tuscaloosa counties in the U.S. state of Alabama. Formerly known as North Bibb, by referendum in August 2000, the town adopted the name of a long-established local unincorporated community and as of October 1, 2000 is now known officially as "Woodstock". As of the 2000 census, the population of the town was 986.

Mercedes-Benz U.S. International

Mercedes-Benz U.S. International (MBUSI) is a Mercedes-Benz automobile manufacturing plant near Vance, Alabama. It is located about 34 miles miles west of Birmingham and about 19 miles miles east of downtown Tuscaloosa. The factory was announced in 1993 and produced its first vehicle, a ML320, in February 1997. From its inception to 1999, the president and CEO of MBUSI was Andreas Renschler.
