KWBA-TV

KWBA-TV, virtual channel 58, is the affiliate of The CW network in Tucson, Arizona. The station broadcasts on digital channel 44, and is licensed to Sierra Vista, Arizona. KWBA signed on the air January 1, 1999 and is owned by the Journal Broadcast Group. It is currently Journal's only CW affiliate since KNIN-TV in Caldwell, Idaho switched from The CW to Fox in 2011. Syndicated programming on KWBA includes: Judge Judy, TMZ on TV, and Cash Cab among others.

Helvetia, Arizona

Helvetia is a ghost town in Pima County in the U.S. state of Arizona. The town was settled in 1891 in what was then the Arizona Territory. The Rosemont project is a large porphyry copper deposit nearby, which may be developed into a mine as early as 2013.

Mount Wrightson

Mount Wrightson is the highest point in the area around Tucson, Arizona, United States at an elevation of 9,453 feet (2,881 m.). Mount Wrightson is located in the Santa Rita Mountains 40 miles southeast of Tucson in the Coronado National Forest. It was named for William Wrightson, who was a miner and entrepreneur in the region. He was killed in the 1860s by Apaches during the Battle of Fort Buchanan.

Fort Crittenden

Fort Crittenden, originally Camp Crittenden, was a United States Army post built in 1867 three miles from Sonoita, Arizona along Sonoita Creek. It was established for campaigning against the Apache and to protect American pioneers in the area.
