Mayflower, Arkansas

Mayflower is a city in Faulkner County, Arkansas, United States. The population was 1,631 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Little Rock–North Little Rock–Conway Metropolitan Statistical Area. In 2006, Mayflower was certified as an Arkansas Community of Excellence by the Arkansas Department of Economic Development. At the end of March 2013, an Exxon Mobil crude oil pipeline ruptured near Mayflower, spilling thousands of barrels of oil.

Founded by Jess Odom with federal assistance from the Urban Growth and New Community Development Act, it is a master-planned community. Maumelle has the highest median household income in Arkansas.
