KPSE-LP

KPSE-LP is the MyNetworkTV-affiliated television station for Southern California's Coachella Valley. Licensed to Palm Springs, it broadcasts a low-powered analog signal on UHF channel 50 from a transmitter on Edom Hill in Cathedral City. The station can also be seen on Time Warner Cable channel 13 (hence the on-air branding My 13 Palm Springs). Owned by Journal Communications, KPSE is sister to NBC affiliate KMIR-TV and the two outlets share studios on Park View Drive in Palm Desert.

Palm Springs Convention Center

The Palm Springs Convention Center is a 245,000 sq ft facility located in downtown Palm Springs, California. Architect William Pereira designed the original building in 1974. In 2005 the Convention Center completed a massive expansion, adding over 100,000 sq ft . It can accommodate groups from 12 to 12,000 people. The new design, by Fentress Architects, pulls colors and design elements from the surrounding desert. Additional meeting space is available at the attached 410 room convention hotel.

KCWQ-LP is the low-powered CW-affiliated television station for the Coachella Valley that is licensed to Palm Springs. It broadcasts an analog signal on VHF channel 2 and a digital signal (KCWQ-LD) on UHF channel 26 from a transmitter on Edom Hill northeast of Cathedral City and I-10. Owned by the News-Press & Gazette Company, the station is sister to ABC affiliate KESQ-TV, Class A Fox affiliate KDFX-CA, and low-powered Telemundo affiliate KUNA-LP/LD.
