Beckwourth Pass

Beckwourth Pass is the lowest mountain pass in the Sierra Nevada mountain range. It is located at the eastern edge of Sierra Valley near Chilcoot-Vinton, Plumas County, California. Beckwourth Pass is east of Beckwourth, California and 25 miles northwest of Reno, Nevada. California State Route 70 crosses over the Beckwourth Pass and the Feather River Route crosses beneath the Beckwourth Pass via the Chilcoot Tunnel.
