Twilight Peak

Twilight Peak is in the San Juan Mountains of western Colorado in the United States, south of Silverton. Twilight peak is in the West Needle Mountains, a sub-range of the San Juans. The standard approach is via a trail from Molas Pass to the north. The trail leads to Crater Lake from where the summit is accessible. Adjacent to Twilight Peak are North Twilight Peak (13,075 feet) and South Twilight Peak (12,932 feet).

Chicago Basin

Chicago Basin comprises the upper portion of the Needle Creek watershed in the Needle Mountains (Colorado), a subrange of the San Juan Mountains in the US State of Colorado. It lies within the Weminuche Wilderness, part of the San Juan National Forest. Needle Creek is an east-side tributary of the Animas River. The basin is a popular destination in summer for climbers and backpackers. The upper portion of the basin is surrounded by three fourteeners: Mount Eolus, Windom Peak, and Sunlight Peak.

Coal Bank Pass

Coal Bank Pass (el. 10,640 ft./3243 m. ) is a mountain pass in the San Juan Mountains of western Colorado in the United States. The pass is in the San Juan National Forest. The pass is traversed by the Million Dollar Highway, U.S. Highway 550 south of Silverton, which is part of the San Juan Skyway Scenic Byway. While the north side is fairly gentle, the descent on the south side is very steep (6.5%), and has a runaway truck ramp for trucks that lose control.

Florida River

Florida River is a 61.7-mile-long tributary of the Animas River in La Plata County, Colorado. The river's source is Lillie Lake in the Weminuche Wilderness. After being impounded by the Lemon Dam to form Lemon Reservoir about fifteen miles northeast of Durango, it joins the Animas River south of Durango on the Southern Ute Indian Reservation near the New Mexico state line.
