The Fitzsimons Army Medical Center (formerly the Fitzsimons Army Hospital) was a medical facility of the United States military during the 20th century located on 577-acre in Aurora, Colorado. The facility closed in 1999 and the grounds are currently being redeveloped for civilian use as the Anschutz Medical Campus and the Fitzsimons Life Science District.

The Adams-Arapahoe 28J School District, more commonly known as the Aurora Public Schools, is the public school system in Aurora, Colorado, United States. There are 55 schools in the district: 2 early childhood education, 27 elementary schools, 5 K-8 schools, 7 middle schools, 4 comprehensive high schools, 1 gifted and talented K-8 school, 6 charter schools, 1 of only five vocational–technical colleges in the state, and the first P-20 school in Colorado starting from Preschool to Graduate School.

Aurora Central High School

Aurora Central High School is a public high school in Aurora, Colorado. It was originally named Aurora High School and was the first high school in Aurora Public Schools. When Hinkley High School was built in 1963, this school was renamed to its present title. The first class to graduate from the existing location was the Class of 1956.
