Moffat Tunnel

The Moffat Tunnel is a railroad and water tunnel that cuts through the Continental Divide in north-central Colorado. Named after Colorado railroad pioneer David Moffat, the tunnel's first railroad traffic passed through in February 1928. Fifty miles (80 km) west of Denver, Colorado is the East Portal in the Front Range, about 10 miles west of the town of Rollinsville, Colorado at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:39.90235|-105.6461|type:railwaystation|||||| |primary |name= }}.

Eldora, Colorado

Eldora is a census-designated place (CDP) in Boulder County, Colorado, United States. The population was 142 at the 2010 census. Eldora is located within the Roosevelt National Forest and lends its name to a local ski resort. The nearest town is Nederland, Colorado.

Gilpin County is the second least extensive of the 64 counties of the State of Colorado of the United States. Gilpin County was named after Colonel William Gilpin, the first Governor of the Territory of Colorado. The county population was 4,757 at U.S. Census 2000. The county seat is Central City. Despite its location in the Rocky Mountains, Gilpin County is part of the Denver-Aurora Metropolitan Statistical Area and the Denver-Aurora-Boulder Combined Statistical Area.

Caribou, Colorado
