Naropa University

Naropa University is a private liberal arts college in Boulder, Colorado. Founded in 1974 by Tibetan Buddhist teacher and Oxford University scholar Chögyam Trungpa, it is named for the eleventh-century Indian Buddhist sage Naropa, an abbot of Nalanda. Naropa describes itself as Buddhist-inspired, ecumenical and nonsectarian rather than Buddhist. Naropa promotes non-traditional activities like meditation to supplement traditional learning approaches.

Coors Events Center

Coors Events Center is an 11,064-seat multi-purpose arena on the Boulder main campus of the University of Colorado. It opened in 1979, and is home to the Colorado Buffaloes men's and women's basketball teams and the volleyball team. It was formerly called the Colorado University Events Center and was renamed in September 1990 after the Coors Brewing Company, for which Coors paid $5 million to the university.
