Cedar Creek (Delaware Bay)

Cedar Creek is a 10.5-mile-long stream and estuary of Delaware Bay in Cumberland County, New Jersey in the United States. It rises in Lawrence Township and flows through Lummistown, where it is dammed twice to form the Lummis Lakes. It is dammed again at Cedarville to form Cedar Lake, below which it enters the marshes and becomes tidal. Fresh Creek, now mostly turned to marsh, ran south to connect it to Middle Brook and cut off Jones Island.

Absalom Jones

Absalom Jones (1746 – February 13, 1818) was an African-American abolitionist and clergyman. After founding a black congregation in 1794, in 1804 he was the first African-American ordained as a priest in the Episcopal Church of the United States. He is listed on the Episcopal calendar of saints and blessed under the date of his death, February 13, in the 1979 Book of Common Prayer as "Absalom Jones, Priest, 1818".

Silver Lake (Milford, Delaware)

Silver Lake is a privately owned brackish water pond in Milford, Delaware. It is located by the headwaters of the Mispillion River. Haven Lake is adjacent to Silver Lake. U.S. Route 113 travels between the two lakes, crossing the Mispillion River. On the river, there was a milldam established in the late 18th century, which formed Silver Lake. The mill was replaced in the 19th century.
