Baldwin County is a county of the U.S. state of Alabama. It is named in honor of Senator Abraham Baldwin, though he never lived in what is now Alabama. As of the 2010 census the population was 182,265. The U.S. Census Bureau estimated 2011 population is 186,717. The county seat is Bay Minette. WSRE is the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) member Public television station for the Pensacola, Florida viewing area. The station has been broadcasting since 1967. The station has recently gone under very significant growth, with the dedication of the new Jean & Paul Amos Performance Studio, and numerous equipment and technical upgrades. The station's production and development facilities are located at the Kugelman Center for Telecommunications on Pensacola Junior College's main campus.

WMPV-TV

WMPV-TV is a religious television station in Mobile, Alabama, broadcasting locally on digital channel 20 as an affiliate of Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN). Founded in December 1985, the station is owned by TBN. The station broadcasts from a transmitter near Robertsdale, Alabama. WMPV was the only full-powered station in the Mobile-Pensacola viewing area to transmit an analog signal past February 17, 2009 according to a list from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).
