Florida State Road 678

State Road 678 is a 0.501 miles stretch of Bearss Avenue between Florida Avenue and Nebraska Avenue in Tampa, Florida. Similar to SR 579 to the south, it connects those two north–south roads with Interstate 275, halfway between them. SR 678 is signed east–west.

Florida State Road 568

Florida State Road 568 is a short stub of the Veterans Expressway in Cheval, Florida north of Tampa. The road was built in 1994, but was reassigned as SR 568 in 2001 when SR 589 moved to the new Suncoast Parkway. It connects the aforementioned SR 589 to SR 597. Toll Road 568 is on the segment of the Veterans Expressway that was intended to be extended to Lutz, Florida in the vicinity of the northern interchange with I-75 and I-275.

Paul R. Wharton High School

Paul R. Wharton High School (also known as Wharton) is a public high school located on Bruce B. Downs Boulevard in New Tampa, Florida . It is one of 24 high schools in the Hillsborough County Public Schools system. The facility was dedicated to Mr. Paul R. Wharton, who served the Hillsborough County school system for 38 years. The school opened on August 21, 1997.
