Rawalts, Illinois

Rawalts (shown on some maps as Rawalts Station) is a small unincorporated community in Fulton County, Illinois, off the Toledo, Peoria and Western Railway just east of Canton, Illinois. It was surveyed by Jonas Rawalts. It had a train station and a store at one time. It is a predominantly a farming area and the town is almost an eastern suburb of Canton.

Canton Lake (Illinois)

Canton Lake is a freshwater reservoir located in Fulton County, Illinois. Known for its trophy sized largemouth bass and its abundant channel catfish. The lake's major fish species are Largemouth Bass, Crappie, Bluegill, Yellow bass, Channel catfish, Carp, and Gizzard Shad. The City of Canton, Illinois has various user fees for boat use and a 85 horse power motor limit. The lake had a large number of channel catfish, largemouth bass, and tiger muskie stocked over the last decade.

WCDD

WCDD (107.9 MHz FM, CD Country 107.9) is a radio station broadcasting a country music format. It is licensed to Canton, Illinois and serves the Peoria radio market. The station is currently owned by Prairie Radio Communications. WCDD was known as WBYS-FM for many years on 98.1 FM with an easy listening format. In late 1997 the station was upgraded to 25,000 watts and moved to 107.9 FM.
