Brenton Arboretum

The Brenton Arboretum 141 acres is an arboretum and public garden established in 1997, located at 25141 260th Street, Dallas Center, Iowa, USA. The Arboretum displays 175 native Iowa trees and shrubs suitable to the site, as well as many other tree species which can grow in central Iowa. The arboretum currently displays over 2600 trees and shrubs. The Brenton Arboretum is a non-profit organization and open to the public 9 am to sunset Tuesday through Sunday.

Dallas County, Iowa

Dallas County is a county located in the U.S. state of Iowa. The population was 66,135 in the 2010 census, an increase from 40,750 in the 2000 census. Its county seat is Adel. It was named for George M. Dallas, Vice President of the United States of America under James K. Polk. Dallas County is one of the five counties that make up the Des Moines–West Des Moines Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Adel–DeSoto–Minburn School District

The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn School District is based in Adel, Iowa. The school district includes Adel-DeSoto-Minburn High School, also called ADM. Nile Kinnick, the 1939 Heisman Trophy winner, attended school in the district until his junior year, when his family moved to Omaha, Nebraska after his father had found work there.
