Riverdale, Iowa

Riverdale is a city in Scott County, Iowa, United States. The population was 811 at the 2010 census. Alcoa has a giant aluminum rolling mill in Riverdale that employs about 2,000 people. The city site is surrounded on three sides by the far larger city of Bettendorf, and on the fourth by the Mississippi River. Bettendorf, in turn, is one of the Quad Cities.

Scott Community College

Scott Community College is a community college in Bettendorf, Scott County and is part of the Eastern Iowa Community College District which also includes Clinton Community College and Muscatine Community College. Scott Community College (or SCC, as it is known by students and faculty) became an entity in July 1966, the same year legislation in the Iowa General Assembly created the state's 15 community college districts, one of those being the Eastern Iowa Community College District.

Bettendorf is a city in Scott County, Iowa, United States. Bettendorf is the fifteenth largest city in the U.S. state of Iowa and the fourth largest city in the "Quad Cities". As of the 2010 United States Census the population grew to 33,217. Bettendorf is one of the Quad Cities, along with neighboring Davenport and the Illinois cities of Moline, East Moline and Rock Island. The Quad Cities has a population estimate of 381,342. In 2011, Bettendorf was named America's 95th Best Town by CNNMoney.
