Marlatt Hall

Marlatt Hall was the only all-male residence hall at Kansas State University, United States. Starting with the 2009-2010 academic year, Marlatt became a coed residence hall which includes the honors program cluster floor (2nd floor), an Architecture cluster floor, and an Engineering cluster floor. Marlatt has a capacity to house 612 men and women in a variety of suite and standard room options. It is located on the West side of Kansas State's Manhattan, Kansas campus in the Kramer Complex.

Kansas State University Gardens

The Kansas State University Gardens (19 acres) is a new horticulture display garden being developed and maintained by the Department of Horticulture, Forestry and Recreation Resources, Kansas State University. It is located on campus at the intersection of Denison Avenue and Claflin Road, Manhattan, Kansas. The gardens are open to the public during daylight hours, March through November. No fee is charged.

Manhattan is a city located in the northeastern part of the state of Kansas in the United States, at the junction of the Kansas River and Big Blue River. It is the county seat of Riley County and the city extends into Pottawatomie County. As of the 2010 census, the city population was 52,281. It is the principal city of the Manhattan, Kansas Metropolitan Statistical Area – with an estimated population of 113,629, the Manhattan MSA is the fourth largest metropolitan area in the state.
