The Monroe Civic Center is a 7,600-seat multi-purpose arena, in Monroe, Louisiana. It was built in 1965. It was home to the Monroe Moccasins ice hockey team and Twin City Gators indoor football team.

Biedenharn Museum and Gardens

The Biedenharn Museum and Gardens is a botanical garden and museum located beside the Ouachita River at 2006 Riverside Drive, Monroe, Louisiana. It is open Monday-Saturday, and half days Sunday. The Biedenharm Museum was built in 1913 as a private home by Joseph Augustus Biedenharn (December 13, 1866-October 9, 1952), who is credited with first bottling the popular soda fountain drink Coca-Cola in the summer of 1894.

West Monroe is a city in Ouachita Parish, Louisiana, United States. It is situated on the Ouachita River, across from the neighboring city of Monroe. The two cities are often referred to as the Twin Cities of northeast Louisiana. Its population was 13,065 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Monroe Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Monroe is a city in and the parish seat of Ouachita Parish, Louisiana, United States. In the official 2010 census, Monroe had a population of 48,815, making it the ninth largest city in the state. The municipal population declined by 8.1 percent over the past decade; it was 53,107 in the 2000 census. After a recheck in 2012, the Census Bureau changed the 2010 population from 48,815 to 49,147.

KMCT-TV

KMCT-TV is a religious television station in West Monroe, Louisiana, broadcasting locally on digital channel 38. Founded June 13, 1983 by Charles Reed, the station was then owned by Louisiana Christian Broadcasting, Inc. The station moved to its current location at 701 Parkwood Drive in 1991. The station was bought by First Assembly of God in West Monroe in November of 2009.
