Libertytown is an unincorporated community in Frederick County, Maryland, United States. The Abraham Jones House was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973. Libertytown is the location of Liberty Elementary School. Liberty opened its doors in 1927, teaching grades 1 through 12. The house is an unusual example of an 18th-century brick, Georgian style manor house, built about 1770. It is a two-story brick dwelling with a hipped roof and inside end chimneys.
