Fort Devens

Fort Devens is an active United States military installation in the towns of Ayer and Shirley, in Middlesex County and Harvard in Worcester County in the U.S. state of Massachusetts. It was named after jurist and Civil War general Charles Devens. The nearby Devens Reserve Forces Training Area is located in Lancaster. Although closed in 1995, the fort was reopened the next day as the Devens Reserve Forces Training Area. In 2007, the area was renamed Devens, Massachusetts.

The Bromfield School

The Bromfield School is a public school located in Harvard, Massachusetts. Founded in 1878 by Margaret Bromfield Blanchard, the school's student population is approximately 750, in grades 6–12. There are 57 teachers, with a student/faculty ratio of about 13. Bromfield's academic program includes core courses in mathematics, English, social studies, and science, as well as music, world languages, physical education and fine and applied arts.

Francis W. Parker Charter Essential School

The Francis W. Parker Charter Essential School (usually referred to as the Parker Charter School by the public, or simply Parker by students) is a public charter school in Devens, Massachusetts that serves students in grades 7 to 12. Oak Ridge Observatory

The Oak Ridge Observatory, also known as the George R. Agassiz Station, is located at 42 Pinnacle Road, Harvard, Massachusetts. It was operated by the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics as a facility of the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory (SAO) until August 19, 2005. The observatory was established in 1933. Through its first 40 years, its primary research focus was on tracking minor planets and asteroids in the solar system.
