Merrimac Square

Merrimac Square is located in the center of the town of Merrimac, Massachusetts. It is the commercial, cultural and historical center of the town. The main events of the town, including the Merrimac Santa Parade and Merrimac Old Home Days, are held in the square. The Square joins East and West Main Streets, as well as Church Street and School Street. There is a concrete island in the center of the roadway, into which a flagpole is embedded.

Tuxbury Pond

Tuxbury Pond is a lake which straddles the Massachusetts-New Hampshire border, abutting the towns of Amesbury, Massachusetts and South Hampton, New Hampshire. It is located along the Powwow River. It has two islands in the middle, and a large summer camp resort lies along the Massachusetts shore.

Amesbury High School

Amesbury High School is a coeducational preparatory school in the city of Amesbury, Massachusetts, drawing students from Amesbury, South Hampton, New Hampshire, and other parts of the Merrimack River Valley region. It is in the Amesbury Public Schools district, and serves grades 9 through 12. The school mascot is the Indian, the colors are red and white. The yearbook is called the Powwow. There are around 830 students, and almost 60 members of faculty and other staff.
