Wollaston (Quincy, Massachusetts)

Wollaston, Massachusetts, is a neighborhood in the city of Quincy, Massachusetts. Divided by Hancock Street/Route 3A, the Wollaston Beach side is called Wollaston Park, while the Wollaston Hill side is called Wollaston Heights. It is bordered by the North Quincy neighborhood to the north, Quincy Bay to the east, the Merrymount neighborhood and Quincy Center to the southeast and south, and Milton, Massachusetts to the west.

Wollaston (MBTA station)

Wollaston is a rapid transit station on the MBTA Red Line, located at the intersection of Beale Street and Newport Avenue in Quincy, Massachusetts. It serves Quincy's Wollaston neighborhood. It was opened in September 1971 as the second of three stations in the original South Shore Extension, replacing a mainline rail station which was located there from 1845 to 1959. Wollaston is the only Red Line station that is not currently wheelchair accessible.
