The Nottawaseppi Huron Band of Potawatomi (NHBP) is a federally recognized Potawatomi Indian tribe. The Tribe received its federal recognition on December 19, 1995. The NHBP are not connected with the Iroquoian tribe, the Huron. The NHBP reservation is located at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:42|06|18|N|85|15|40|W| | |name= }} in Athens Township in southwestern Calhoun County in southern Michigan. Union City is a village in Branch and Calhoun counties in the U.S. state of Michigan. Located mostly within Union Township in Branch County, it sits at the junction of the Coldwater and St. Joseph rivers; the Calhoun County portion lies within that county's Burlington Township.
