Crystal Airport (Minnesota)

Crystal Airport is a public airport named after the city of Crystal in Hennepin County, Minnesota, United States. Most of the airport is in the city of Crystal. Portions north of 62nd Avenue are in Brooklyn Park, and the north east corner of the airport is in Brooklyn Center. It is eight miles (13 km) northwest of the central business district of Minneapolis and is owned by the Metropolitan Airports Commission. The airport opened in 1946 as a privately owned public use airport.

Shingle Creek is a neighborhood within the Camden community in Minneapolis; it is located in the far northwestern corner of the city. The neighborhood is named after the creek that runs through it. The boundaries of Shingle Creek are 53rd Avenue North to the north, Humboldt Avenue North to the east, 49th Avenue North to the south, and Xerxes Avenue North to the west.

I-694 Bridge

The I-694 Bridge is a pair of girder bridges that spans the Mississippi River between the cities of Brooklyn Center and Fridley in Minnesota. The westbound bridge was built in 1963 by the Minnesota Department of Transportation, and widened in 1987 with a new structure above the piers. The eastbound bridge was built in 1988, also by the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

North Hennepin Community College

Founded in 1966, North Hennepin Community College is one of the largest and most diverse community colleges in Minnesota and a member of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system - the fifth largest system in the United States. It's conveniently located at the intersection of 85th Avenue North and West Broadway in Brooklyn Park. NHCC serves more than 10,000 students and offers over 60 credit programs, as well as continuing education and customized training.
