KBEM-FM

KBEM-FM (88.5 FM, "Jazz 88") is a Minneapolis, Minnesota public radio station broadcasting a jazz format. The station is operated by Minneapolis public school system and has also been known since the mid-1990s as a partner with the Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT), providing traffic congestion reports for commuters in the Minneapolis-St. Paul metropolitan area. KUOM, known as Radio K, is a college radio station operated by the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. Siebert Field

Siebert Field is the baseball stadium at the University of Minnesota where the Minnesota Golden Gophers college baseball team currently plays portions of their seasons. (Some early season contests are normally held at the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome. ) It is named in honor of Dick Siebert, a former head coach who led the Gophers to three national titles. From 1971 to 1978 it was known as Bierman Field, in honor of Bernie Bierman.

Ridder Arena

Ridder Arena is the ice rink of the women's hockey team at the University of Minnesota. The Golden Gophers were the only collegiate women's hockey team to have an arena built for them, until the University of Wisconsin opened the LaBahn Arena in 2012. The arena was opened in 2002. The arena seats about 3,400 people; included in that total are the occupants of about 200 club seats and nine sky boxes. Ridder Arena features NHL sized ice at 85 ft x 200 ft.
