Mount Washington Regional Airport is a public airport located 3 miles east of downtown Whitefield in Coos County, New Hampshire, USA. The Civil Air Patrol maintains a composite squadron at this location. The airport has a single, newly re-paved runway that is 4,001 feet long, 75 feet wide, at an average altitude of 1,074 feet MSL, beneath the Yankee One Military Operations Area (MOA). It is named for two prominent summits which rise to the south of the village, North Twin Mountain (4,761 ft/1,451 m) and South Twin Mountain (4,902 ft/1,494 m).
