Ashuelot Pond

Ashuelot Pond is a 368-acre water body located in Sullivan County in western New Hampshire, United States, in the town of Washington. It is situated along the upper reaches of the Ashuelot River, a tributary of the Connecticut River. The pond is good for boating, fishing, and wildlife watching. Personal water craft with a capacity of two passengers or less are prohibited by the state of New Hampshire. The pond mostly has a muddy bottom.

Lempster Mountain Wind Power Project

Lempster Mountain Wind Power Project is a 24-megawatt wind farm, opened in 2008 in Lempster, New Hampshire in the northeast United States. Owned by Iberdrola, it is the first major wind-power installation in the state of New Hampshire. Highland Lake (Stoddard, New Hampshire)

Highland Lake is a 712-acre water body located in Sullivan and Cheshire counties in southwestern New Hampshire, United States, in the towns of Washington and Stoddard. The lake has two outlets. The north outlet feeds Shedd Brook, while the south outlet flows through Island Pond to the North Branch of the Contoocook River. Water from the two outlets rejoins in the town of Hillsborough, approximately 8 miles east of Highland Lake and one mile upstream from the Contoocook River.
