Garden City Park is a hamlet and CDP located in the Town of North Hempstead in Nassau County on Long Island in the U.S. state of New York. The population was 7,806 at the 2010 census. From about 1787 until about 1874, when the area was known as Clowesville, the county seat of Queens County was located here, along with the county courthouse and jail.
