Schoharie Reservoir

The Schoharie Reservoir is a small reservoir in the Catskill Mountains of New York State that was created to be one of 19 reservoirs that supplies New York City with water. It was created by impounding Schoharie Creek. Portions of it lie in the towns of Conesville and Gilboa in Schoharie County, Roxbury in Delaware County, and Prattsville in Greene County.

Gilboa-Conesville Central School

The Gilboa-Conesville Central School District is a small, rural school located in the Northern Catskill Mountains. There are about 375 students in grades K–12 housed in one building in Gilboa, Schoharie County New York. There are no villages nor towns within the school district. The town of Prattsville has the only village atmosphere in the district. Because no students live within walking distance of the school, almost all take the school bus to school.

Zadock Pratt

Zadock Pratt Jr. (October 30, 1790 – April 5, 1871) was a tanner, banker, soldier, and member of the United States House of Representatives. Pratt served in the New York militia from 1819–1826, and was Colonel of the 116th regiment from 1822 until his resignation from the militia on September 4, 1826.

Prattsville Reformed Dutch Church

The Prattsville Reformed Dutch Church was originally built in 1804, and was rebuilt in 1835. It is located on Main St. in Prattsville, New York, and is an example of Greek Revival and Federal style Architecture. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in July, 1996.
