Greig, New York

Greig is a town in Lewis County, New York, United States, Named after John Greig, the town was founded in 1828 from land within the boundary of Watson, New York. Originally named Brantingham, the town changed to its present name, February 20, 1832. Brantingham still survives as a hamlet within the boundaries of Greig, as a postal identity and for Brantingham Lake, to the east of town. As of the 2010 Census, the population was 1,199.

Lyons Falls, New York

Lyons Falls is a village in Lewis County, New York, United States. The population was 566 at the 2010 census. The Village of Lyons Falls is on the border of the Town of West Turin and the Town of Lyonsdale. It is at the junction of NYS Route 12 and NYS Route 12D, about 15 miles south of Lowville, the county seat.

Whetstone Gulf State Park

Whetstone Gulf State Park is a state park located in Lewis County, New York in the USA. The park is on the border of the towns of Turin and Martinsburg. The park is on the edge of the Tug Hill Plateau, south of Lowville. The park is built in and around a three-mile-long canyon cut into the eastern edge of the Tug Hill Plateau. The site is probably one of the most spectacular scenic vistas east of the Rocky Mountains.
