Wyoming County is a county located in the U.S. state of New York. At the 2010 census, the population was 42,155. The county seat is Warsaw. The name is from a modified Delaware Indian word meaning "broad bottom lands". Wyoming County was formed from Genesee County in 1841.

WCJW (1140 AM, "CJ Country") is a radio station in western New York state. Its AM facility broadcasts at 2,500 watts on 1140 kHz from studios in Warsaw, New York during daytime hours only; however, three co-owned FM translators provide fulltime service. A construction permit was recently granted to allow a daytime power increase to 8,000 watts and 2,300 watts during critical hours.
