Beekmantown is a town in Clinton County, New York, United States. The population was 5,545 at the 2010 census. The town name is that of William Beekman, an original landowner. The Town of Beekmantown is on the east border of the county, north of the City of Plattsburgh.

Flat Rock State Forest

Flat Rock State Forest is 1,931-acre a New York State Department of Environmental Conservation property located in Altona, New York. It is home to a Sandstone Pavement Barrens. The Sandstone Pavement Barrens community is a narrow regional endemic that is possibly restricted to the northernmost counties of New York, north of the Adirondack Mountains in the northeastern portion of the Great Lakes Ecoregion, where the bedrock is sandstone.

Morrisonville is a hamlet in Clinton County, New York, United States. The population was 1,545 at the 2010 census. Morrisonville is divided between the Towns of Plattsburgh and Schuyler Falls by the Saranac River, which defines the town lines between the two towns.
