RIT Observatory

Rochester Institute of Technology Observatory is a small astronomical observatory owned and operated by Rochester Institute of Technology. It is located in Henrietta, New York (USA). The observatory is primarily used to teach undergraduate astronomy labs, although some research relating to cataclysmic variables and asteroid occultations also takes place. There are one telescope dome and one roll-off shed on the premises, both housing telescopes.

Rochester Institute of Technology

Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) is a private university located within the town of Henrietta in the Rochester, New York metropolitan area. RIT is composed of nine academic colleges, including the National Technical Institute for the Deaf. Witr is an Islamic prayer (salah) that is performed at night after isha'a (night-time prayer) or before fajr (dawn prayer). According to the Hanafi Fiqh witr prayer is wajib. The status of wajib is very close to that of fard. There are a few distinguishing factors of the witr prayer that sets it apart from the fard (mandatory) and sunnah (recommended) prayers. Witr has an odd number of rakat prayed in pairs, with the final raka'ah prayed separately.

Frank Ritter Memorial Ice Arena

The Frank Ritter Memorial Ice Arena, known colloquially as "The Ritter", is an ice arena on the campus of the Rochester Institute of Technology in Henrietta, a suburb of Rochester, New York, United States. It is home to the RIT Tigers ice hockey teams and the Genesee Figure Skating Club. Its official capacity for ice hockey games is 2,100. The building was erected in 1968 when RIT moved from downtown Rochester to a new suburban campus in nearby Henrietta.
