Carter Gymnasium

Carter Gymnasium is a 947-seat multi-purpose arena in Buies Creek, North Carolina. It was previously home to the Campbell University Fighting Camels men's basketball and women's basketball teams. It was one of the smallest college basketball venues in Division I (the CSU Field House home to Charleston Southern University's program is the current smallest Division I men's basketball arena). The building was named for textile executive Howard Carter.

Black River Township is one of thirteen townships in Harnett County, North Carolina, USA. The township had a population of 8,085 according to the 2000 census. It is a part of the Dunn Micropolitan Area, which is also a part of the greater Raleigh–Durham–Cary Combined Statistical Area (CSA) as defined by the United States Census Bureau. Geographically, Black River Township occupies 29.35 square miles in northern Harnett County.

Kennebec, North Carolina

Kennebec is a small unincorporated community in southern Wake County, North Carolina along the border of Harnett County. The community is situated along North Carolina Highway 55 and is the site of the Fuquay-Angier Airfield (Kennebec Flying Club). Much of the area has been recently annexed by the Harnett County town of Angier. Kennebec was named for Kennebec County, Maine {{#invoke:Footnotes | harvard_citation }}. The community was also a stop on the former Durham and Southern Railway.
