Mitchell River (North Carolina)

The Mitchell River is a tributary of the Yadkin River in northwestern North Carolina in the United States. Via the Yadkin it is part of the watershed of the Pee Dee River, which flows to the Atlantic Ocean. Bryan Township, Surry County, North Carolina

Bryan Township is one of fifteen townships in Surry County, North Carolina. The township had a population of 2,617 according to the 2000 census. Geographically, Bryan Township occupies 70.1 square miles in western Surry County. There are no incorporated municipalities within Bryan Township, however there are several smaller, unincorporated communities located here, including, Devotion, Mountain Park, State Road, Union Hill and Zephyr.
