Carlyle, Montana
Carlyle is an unincorporated community in Wibaux County, Montana, United States, located approximately 1 to 1⁄2 miles west of the North Dakota border, sitting on a ranch, who incorporated the once agricultural town into grazing land. Some of the buildings once a part of the town are just foundations, however, a farmstead east of the town is still standing, with the school house, grain elevators and a couple of the homes inside the town. Southeast of the town of Carlyle is the cemetery.

Sentinel Butte, North Dakota
Sentinel Butte is a city in Golden Valley County, North Dakota in the United States. The population was 56 at the 2010 census. Sentinel Butte was founded in 1902 along the transcontinental rail line of the Northern Pacific Railway. The name comes from the prominent butte (3,428 ft) three miles (5 km) to the south. This geographical feature was named in honor of two Arikara sentinels killed nearby in 1864 by the Sioux.
